Being the second largest carnivorous shark, the liver of the
Greenland Shark is incredible large. It can weigh up to 25kg
alone.
EARLIER THE OIL FROM the liver was used as lamp
oil by the people on Greenland. Now we now, that there is much
better usage of this interesting oil.
It has been proven that the oil from the liver of the
Greenland Shark has a very interesting use connected with
cancer research.
WHAT HAPPENS IS, that the liver oil inhibits
the creation of new veins close to a cancer tumor thereby
"starving" the tumor. Furthermore substance from the liver to
